Finn loves the playpark it’s amazing. There is a toddler and bigger kid park. The bridges are fun and he loves to run across in his words ‘fast’. You can see him watching for his daddy to complete the zip line. There are also high ropes courses.

Go see Boo the bear. He turned 30 this year. You get to ride the chairlift up and if you don’t live winter sports it’s a great opportunity.

Alexander Park Elementary School

Great little park. Preferred by the littles to the clown park. It has a little shelter so you can have a picnic. There are basketball hoops at the other side and a large grassy section to run around in.

This park has a little washroom which is great. The kids love to play in the “hole” as much as the park. Great little picnic spot.

There is a dock and a small sandy beach. There are a few nice walks around the lake and to the other cedar lakes. The water looks a bit murky but it’s great. Cedar lake 1 has the least bugs.

A great place to stop of you are driving through fairmont on your way to or from Golden. The boys are a little young to experience everything they have to offer but Finn loved feeding the goats.

Headed through Revelstoke on your way to our from Golden this could be a great stop. We haven’t made it here yet but it’s high on our to do list with lots of friends highly recommending an adventure here.
