The Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park is a recreation centre and tourist attraction near Gangtok, in the state of Sikkim, India. The park's statuary and other displays document the Ban Jhakri, or traditional shamanic healer who worships spirits living in caves around the falls. Ban means "forest", and jhākri means "healer". This place is about 3 kilometres from the apartment. For those who like their morning walks this place is at a walking distance from the apartment.

The office of this set up where you can make a booking for the flight is another one km or so from Banjhakri falls. So if you are interested in an alternative travel plan you could take a trip which will consist of "Ban jhakri falls" "Para gliding" " Ranka monastery" "Rumtek Monastery" "Martam rice valley" Have a meal at one of the restuarant in Martam and then start back after dark and enjoy the splendid night view of Gangtok from Rumtek and Ranka road. That would be a one day outing and I personally would love it.

It's a small place after Rumtek. It's one of the few places in Sikkim where you can see a swath of land with paddy all over. The view is enchanting. There is a restaurant there which is very popular with locals from Gangtok where you can sit and enjoy the view and have a tasty meal while taking photos for memory 😁
