Free wi-fi, nice setting, although the food and coffee is not the best in London, but a useful place to arrange a meet-up with a friend since it's so close to us.

A chic restaurant in the courtyard of a grand house which is now a museum. Nice place for lunch in the summer, or some champagne and oysters :-)

Literally round the corner from us, run by a nice greek-man. The food is very very good, and you get lots of it! They have a set menu, just make sure you have a big appetite.

You can't visit england without experiencing a local fish and chip shop. Just behind our flat is the lovely 'fish-bone', you even get an authentic cockney geezer serving you :-)

One of our favourite restaurants, this Turkish place does a good 'karniyarik' (stuffed aubergine) and lots of grilled meats.

The tallest building in London (for now) and not very pretty! But it's what makes London so special. Visible from anywhere in London, and right on our doorstep. Very Lord of the Rings 'the eye' like.

I've never been on it! But...it supposedly has the most spectacular views of London, look out for the BT Tower and you might see your room too :-)

Experience the theatre as the Elizabethans would have, they have cheap £5 standing tickets and you can stand right next to the stage in the round, open air theatre. Theatre tours are also fun!
