A truly historical place. This confectionery is 40 years old and it is famous for its pastries, the recipes of which date back to the times of the Soviet Union. They have a limited choice of cakes, but what is great about this place is that all the positions they have are good.

State Hermitage museum is a gem of Saint Petersburg. Its collection can compete with the collection of Louvre and if you love art this is definitely a place you should visit. From the ancient collections to contemporary art - all can be found there. The best time to come is on Wednesday from 6 till 9 - they wind up the famous peacock plock which is a spectacular thing to see.

This is a hidden gem of Saint Petersburg- located close to Peterhoff, this park and palace offer you an insight into the private life of Russian tsars and their families - there you can see where royal family celebrations took place and what their secret pleasures were. Also, the price of the ticket is more than affordable (5 EUR according to 2017)
