This is a great place for San Diego History. There are historical building to walk through. Bank, black smith, printing press, old time candy shop, etc. People dressed in period clothing, mostly weekends for this. There are also many restaurants and shops to check out.

This Co-op is a little far. Very close to the beach. If you are into Co-ops it is the only one in San Diego. They have a very tasty deli upstairs. It is a vegetarian store, extremely fresh produce.
