A unique "Old West" menu, including a full breakfast menu. Booths and tables are welcoming. Lots of local repeat customers, especially on Friday, the only day they are open for the evening meal. Specials are posted daily. Friendly and fun wait staff.

A fantastic view and drive around the lake to where the Pine River enters the lake, then follow the river into the mountains to a trailhead for those who enjoy hiking. Many fish from the bank. There are fees charged for improved parking areas and camping. A fishing license is required. Check with the local Vallecito stores for fishing information. Several restaurants are at Vallecito.

It's a fun trip for the whole family. Many recommend the train ride one way and take the bus back to your vehicle. Plan on a whole day to enjoy the sights and SIlverton.
