Market days are Thursday to Saturday I think. Getting fancier over time but expect a lot of cheap clothes and batteries as well as some nice bread and curry. Handy shops and fast food here too.

Clearly the Heath is a jewel in London's crown. Explore the grassy fields or venture into the foresty areas for some winter exploration. Visit Kenwood to see some rugs and paintings and such.

This is a nice park with varied areas, usually very quiet, and in close proximity to the hospital should any of the local vegetation suddenly attack and remove chunks of your flesh as is their wont.

This old house has quite a few old paintings and old chairs in it. Everything here is very old, and some of the old things are famous. Walk through the Heath to visit. Beautiful grounds, decent cafe.

Drinks & Nightlife
Nice pub, next to the Heath, good Sunday roasts. Can get pretty busy. They use Secret DJ so you can choose your own music from your phone to queue up in the playlist. That's pretty funny.

I'll let you in on this secret but only because I like you. This structure to the rear of what used to be probably one person's house is a wonderful and surreal garden and relaxing spot. Very romantic

Where Steele's Road meets Haverstock Hill are Tandis, an excellent Iranian restaurant and the Steele's, a nice pub with live folk music sometimes. Also fish and chips if the Blue Sea is closed.
