BEST PIZZA IN NYC. I mean it. Jay Z and Beyonce are regulars here and have told the press it's their favorite pizza place multiple times. However, it's the most hole-in-the-wall as they come - ten tables, cash only, byob. It'll be a long wait but luckily the apartment is less than a ten minute walk! Put your name in early in the evening, check out of a few local bars or have a glass of wine at the apartment while you wait. It's worth it, I promise!

Traditional Jewish deli with the best bagels you've ever tasted. I always go for the Member of the Tribe - the lox are INSANE.

Giant food market with local makers selling all kinds of crazy foods you've never imagined from around the world. As an added bonus it's located on East River State park with absolutely stunning views of Manhattan (and just down the block from Artists & Fleas!)

Old elevated train line turned walking path, you can go all the way through Chelsea to Midtown. It's really well designed with a lot of cool accents and nooks with great views of various parts of the city.

Sightseeing
Adorable old fishing town that has become very posh and eclectic. You can take the water taxi from here to lower Manhattan, and you'll see the Statue of Liberty on your ride! You can also get a great view of the statue from Louis Valentino Jr. park.
