Markets also happen on Saturdays in Medford during the summer (small market) and in Ashland (Tuesdays, same hours and months & Saturdays, June-Oct, large market), Jacksonville (Sundays, June-Oct).

Yes, it's a bike shop AND they have a small number of taps with great regional beers at great prices. Not open late, but a fun place to hang out. Wednesday-Saturday they are open until 8, I think. Wednesday evenings they also have a food truck in the parking lot- a different one every few weeks.

Gorgeous historic city park along a creek that continues up into mountain trails. It also has duck ponds and a great playground in the lower section. They also offer free guided walks that tell a lot of the history and about the trees on a regular basis.

Gorgeous National Park with hiking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. About 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive from here, which makes a fantastic day trip.
