An amazing memorial to WW II veterans that rivals anything in Washington, DC. Bedford lost the most men per capital in the D-Day invasion. Plan to spend several hours touring this sacred place.

All that's left of a huge cavern is a breathtakingly tall stone bridge strong enough for the highway on top. A short hike takes you under the bridge and on to a reconstruction of an Indian village. See if you can find George Washington's initials. There is a cafe overlooking the bridge. Caverns and other attractions nearby.
