One of my favourites. Often called the 'Welsh Matterhorm'. I also begin and end the walk at Croesor which has a lovely community cafe open in the summer - but check opening times.

A truly unique mountain which involves some scrambling. Can be walked straight from the A5 opposite Llyn Ogwen ('Lake') but the North Ridge is only suitable for experienced walkers.
