This cafe menu supports local farmers and offers a great selection of beer and wine as well. Often times they have live music at night and a lovely outdoor patio/bar upstairs.

Augie's has wonderful food and the best happy hour in town!! Many of their delicious appetizers are under $8 including lobster nachos and crab-cakes plus great drink specials as well. Usually 7 days a week 4-7pm.

Guacamaya's has the best mexican food in town and is minutes from the house. They usually have daily specials and really good desserts as well! One of my favorites!

Delicious food, wood fired pizza, and a huge wine selection. Sometimes the service can be slow, but well worth it. I love the lobster ravioli that is usually on the specials list.

One of my favorite local lakes!! The lake is small but gorgeous. You can fish off the docks and banks, or go kayaking. There are trails around the lake and lots of picnic tables under large pine trees that provide shade. There are also swings, playgrounds, and horseshoes.

This is a very nice lake to visit, fish, or hike around. You can rent boats and kayaks from the little store, and there is also a restaurant with a view of the lake. There are also BBQs and picnic tables available.
