This part of Frankfort Avenue is one of the hippest parts of town, full of restaurants and bars. Bourbons Bistro has fantastic food and an amazing selection of bourbons, including flights.

Organic, locally grown food prepared by a gourmet chef with a Southern flair. Excellent. Best omelet I've ever eaten. Or try the burger on pretzel bun with hog-jowl jelly. Crazy good.

Not exactly gourmet, but for some quick tacos, I go here all the time. Really good and really close. They also have a good "Fiesta Pack" that you can take home.

Perhaps our favorite restaurant in the city. German food and drinks served in a great, fun atmosphere. The spaetzle is amazing, the duck-fat popcorn is really good.

Legendary in Louisville for amazing gourmet food and gross dive-like bar atmosphere. :-) Expect to smell like cigarette smoke and be completely stuffed when you walk out!
