Coffee, food, and bars in Beacon Hill and surrounding area
There are so many amazing coffee shops, restaurants, and bars both within walking-distance of the townhouse and a quick car-ride away! Here are a few of my favorites :)
This place is just the right amount of busy - there are always guests so you know it's good, but it's never crowded so you can always get a seat. The staff who work there are friendly and extremely flexible with coordinating allergies or dietary restrictions.

Oak has a friendly ambiance and is always bustling! They are always circulating delicious specials on top of their already scrumptious menu. They also have an exclusive vegan and gluten free menu and are knowledgeable about the menu. Their beer and drink selection is also very extensive for such a small bar section. It's definitely a must while you're here!

Tippe and Drague is a fun place to go out with friends and not have to try too hard. Literally a block away from the townhouse, they offer a wide selection of beers and also provide popcorn to munch on - freshly popped with just oil and salt and it's to die for, especially when you get your buzz on.

One of the best coffee spots in town is right next door! They also have delicious pastries, breakfast burritos and much more. This is a great place to hang out and do computer work or grab The Stranger (Seattle’s local magazine) and make some fun plans!

Baja Bistro is a great place to grab drinks for happy hour. It also doubles as a great Mexican restaurant that’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wednesday nights feature an entertaining drag show!

I absolutely love the Mexican food at El Sombrero. They do an amazing veggie fajita and all their food tastes healthier than other Mexican restaurants.

Hiking spots in and near Seattle
A variety of hiking spots in Seattle and within a day's drive.
NW Forest Pass required. A great mid-level hike that a little over an hour's drive from Seattle. The trail is a good mixture between gradual and steeps grades and summits at a beautiful lake. This hike is great both during the summer and winter (although winter will most likely need microspikes, etc. to accomodate the ice/snow near the top)

No parking pass/entry fee required. Cougar Mountain is a 25 minutes drive from Seattle and has a wide variety of trails looping in and out of one another which makes it very easy to customize the length and intensity of your journey. Though most of the trails are low elevation gain, there is still breathtaking nature all around you with beautiful waterfalls and tree compositions throughout.

Washington Park is located in central Seattle and is only a 15 minute drive from the AirBnB. Washington Park houses a maintained garden with plaques throughout to dictate its rich history. You can also take the Foster Point Trail and Arboretum Waterfront Trail to the north to see the breathtaking water views at Foster Island, Marsh Island, and Montlake Park.
