I recommend this area because it's simply the best! It's less than 15 minutes to thw city centre. Check it out for yourself: - The Danforth Music Hall - Pantheon restaurant - Allen's for great burgers - Mezes, Greek cuisine with generous portions

Kinton Ramen is one of several tasty restaurants that serves up authentic cuisine and service. I prefer Kinton ramen because of their simple yet flavourful dishes. Don't let the thumbnail above dissuade you. I've never seen THAT dish on the menu. Santouka is a close second. For more restaurant action that'll transport you to the streets of Tokyo, head to Little Tokyo by Yonge and Dundas Streets.

Sample one of my personal favourite brews at the source. It just so happens you can hit several places of interest in one area - even if they are slightly off the beaten path public transport path even in winter.

Where to start...food, beer and some pretty neat shops - that's if you are not visiting when the Christmas Market is in full swing in December. Crowds get unpleasant around this time of year now that everybody wants to be seen eaten a giant turkey leg in public. If you are here during this festive time then go mid-week. It's free (*maybe) and much more enjoyable.
