Beautiful park to visit all seasons of the year. Check out the cactus house, and the amazonian water lily display. Have a picnic beside the lake. Best of all it's FREE

Great place to begin a walk along the River Torrens. Start here, go along up the river till the University of Adelaide and cut across the university for its rich architecture to get back into CBD.

SA's little german town. Spend the day walking up and down the main street, with heaps of arts and crafts and culture. Enjoy German beers and food. A little further down is the Beerenberg Jam factory.

Home to Australia's only pandas! A rather small zoo, should be able to cover all of it in a morning/afternoon. Personal favourites are the giraffes and capybaras. Kids will love the petting area.
