We love this place! They even have zero-proof flights for kids! Delicious food, great drinks, an interesting artisan gift shop and a fairy walk for the whole family. I love that they make everything you can imagine from their apples.

This is a 5 min drive from us. There is a wine tasting building and another one for the restaurant. Food is amazing- you won't be disappointed. Wine is also delectable!

The Cook and Butcher (not Cow Cafe) We are regulars here! Ocean views and amazing food! You won't find any Ceasars as interesting as these ones! I recommend making two visits: one for food, and one for drinks and desserts. Their desserts are to die for.
Pick your own blueberries! My daughter and I often bike there for smoothie and yogurt ice cream made from their berries!

7 min drive! This beach at Shawnigan Lake is great for children- the water is shallow for a while before it gets deep. And it's never too crowded! I have lots of floaties you can take with you!

15 min drive. Hands down best breakfast in the Cowichan Valley. Usually a line up on weekends but moves fast, so don't let that discourage you! The food is worth it!
