The Fischerstube is a cozy traditional brewery restaurant located in the heart of the old town of lower Basel (Kleinbasel) - just a few meters away from the River Rhine. From the restaurant you can watch the brewers at work in the In-house brewery while enjoying a home made Ueli-beer (Ueli Bier) fresh from the barrel.

Parks & Nature
The banks on this side of the river run for about 3 km and are good for jogging as large sections are traffic free. In the summer this is the city’s „beach“ area as swimming in the river is very popular. The Flora buvette is one of several buvettes along the river for a drink and a bite but it is the closest one to my place - just a two-minute walk away.
