My absolute favorite place on the Square. They feature a wide range of items. They have a great steak, but also some of the best sandwiches in town. There's something for everyone at this place. The upstairs is a cool bar with an amazing view of the Square. Try the chutney for an appetizer, you won't be disappointed!

Great pastries and coffee. I love the art local art scene represented here as well as the small town feel in this old bus stop. You can't beat the croissants anywhere in town.

I love the atmosphere and the balcony. The drinks are made well and the atmosphere is a little more adult than many of the other places around town. Famous Oxonians like John Gissolm and Eli Manning frequent this place, it's gotta be good.

This is place to go to have a party. The Library hosts undergrads and older. There's always a good party going on and each of the rooms offers something different. If you're looking for a sports bar or a dance club this is the place to go. Get there early on home game weekends, the cover can get expensive.

This is a great place to catch local artists and great live music. Bands like PANIC! have started off here. There's always a great band and good food.

The Growler features over 30 taps of local and microbrews. The entire place is set like a coffee shop, but they serve beer and wine! It's a great place to hang out with friends, watch a game or enjoy the patio. I love hanging out on a Friday afternoon with friends or meeting business contacts here.

The Coop on the rooftop is a fantastic venue. The views of the Square are fabulous. The drinks and food are top notch. This is one of our favorite places to go for an evening on the Square.

Sightseeing
William Falkner's house is a well preserved museum of the Nobel Laureate. The admission is very reasonable and the landscaping absolutely photogenic. I love strolling the expansive lawn and woods around the property.

If you're not in town for a football game or graduation you should still take the time to visit campus. The Lyceum is one of a few original buildings and the site of the Ole Miss riots. The university has history all across campus and is full of beautiful antebellum architecture. The Grove and the landscaping across campus are stunning and worth taking the time for an afternoon stroll. Enjoy the tulips in the spring or the leaves in the fall, the entire campus is absolutely beautiful.

Whirlpool trail offers several miles of hiking and biking. The trail is shaded on both sides by large, old trees. It's the perfect place to stretch your legs, get some exercise with the kids or let the dogs run. We love hiking the trail, when we want to do more than hike the woods surrounding the house.
