This is a main Library for Indianapolis. The original part of the building built in 1906. It is worth seeing the main reading room, decorated in an Egyptian revival style. Go to the 6th floor of the new addition for some great views of downtown.

The Indiana War Memorial was built to commemorate “The great war to end all wars” (now known as World War 1). It has a nice museum, but the shrine room at the top of the monument is stunning piece of architecture that is worth seeing.
The building was modeled after an ancient Persian Empire tomb, and you will see the building style of the pyramidal roof repeated in many modern Indianapolis buildings.
