Ok, this strange little store is sort of a grocery, sort of a deli, sort of some wines. Many shelves empty. Not great on ambience, but the burritos are delicious! Call ahead and it will be ready when you get there.

This is the iconic and high quality fresh oyster source in West Marin. Do NOT stop at Tomales Bay Oysters along the way or intestinal distress may follow. Worth the drive if you like raw oysters. Can get busy so call ahead.

The Bovine is in itself a great reason to drive the 30 minutes up to Point Reyes, particularly in the morning. GREAT treats, no espresso, just good coffee. If you need espresso Toby's (just down the street) serves a tasty variety.

Our favorite trail - hike 20 minutes up to Table Rock for a great view over Stinson Beach and Bolinas. You can continue on up to the ridge, all the way to Pan Toll. Excellent 3-hour loop route up and around down the Steep Ravine trail. Although we have been asked more than once by confused hikers where Matt Damon lives, this is the Matt Davis trail...

This trail is a strenuous hike best in the morning when it's cool. Steep rise with spectacular views, it eventually takes you to the top of the Bolinas Ridge.

Old growth redwoods saved for us in 1906. Beautiful walks deep in the redwoods. Best in morning, but gets super crowded later in the day. Weekdays much easier.

This narrow road winds along the ridge above Stinson Beach, providing stunning panoramic views over Stinson and Bolinas to the west, and north over Marin County. Incredibly scenic drive. Make a loop of it by driving up Panoramic from Stinson to Pantoll Ranger Station, turn left up toward Mount Tamalpais then left onto Ridgecrest along Ridgecrest to another left onto Bolinas Fairfax Road down to another left on Shoreline Highway back to Stinson.

The best view of the north Bay and San Francisco! 2,500 ft high peak with 360° view. Seems way higher when you're up there than it looks from down below. World class view of a great metro area.
