You can climb to the top of this mountain in aobut 90mins and the views are amazing. If you're not feeling that adventurous, there's a lovely walk called the Giant's Lair - kids will love it and an outdoor kids play park There's also a nice cafe in the courtyard for snacks and meals.

Sightseeing
Warrenpoint is a lovely seaside town and you will find some good restaurants and coffee shops here. Try the Whistledown for food with a view of the sea ,or Leafy Green if you're looking for a vegetarian option. If you drive a little further down the coast you'll come to Rostrevor, a very pretty seaside town. Again there are some good restaurants - The Church or The Old School House are worth a try

Everything Else
Carlingford ia a lovely medieval town about 30 mins drive away . It si a lovely place to spend the day but if you don't want it to be too busy, I'd avoid the weekends as there are lots of hen and stag nights. If, on the other hand, you like it busy then choose Saturday night.
