It is a Classic DC restaurant, but personally I think it is a great bar for a good cocktail and mature ambiance.

I'm obsessed with this place and go regularly. It has an upstairs area with classic pinball machines and video games and it really fun. Its is a husband/wife that own the place and very neighborhoody. The food is New Jersey beach fare. Mini Corn dogs and fried pickles are guilty pleasures.

The park is really right at the top of Belmont Road. It has two playground areas, basketball courts and lots of green space where people picnic and hangout on sunny days. If you have small kiddos, its perfect.
