The second best wings in Charlotte in our opinion. Yes it's a chain but it's not national so if you've never heard of it before, you should go. The Wild West wings are the best as are the Garlic and Red-Hot-N-Bleu wings.

Our favorite Sushi in Charlotte. It might not be the best, the restaurant might not be ultra-modern but it's always an experience here. It's also always PACKED. They have the most inventive and creative sushi menu around.

Best patio in Charlotte. Best lunch in Charlotte in our opinion as well. Something for everyone. Great French Onion soup! Only about a 5 minute drive from our house near Southpark Mall and Piedmont Row.

Piedmont Row can be fun and is very close to our house near Southpark Mall. There's a restaurant for all tastes here including Italian (Brio Tuscan Grill), French (Georges Brasserie), Mexican-American (Taco Mac - more of a sports bar and drinking spot, food isn't so great), Eclectic American (Terrace Cafe - get the Red Velvet Waffle available any time of day!), Upscale (Del Frisco's - fancy!), Breakfast (Cast Iron Waffles) and even a wine bar (J. Sam's, very cozy).
They also have alive-after-five style events here throughout the year where they close down the main areas and have a stage and bands.

It only seats about 100 and that might be generous. Best part is they typically do two shows a night, an early show starting at 7 or 8 and a late show starting at 10 or 11 so you don't have to be out until all hours to see good music. It won't matter what night you're in town, The Evening Muse is going to have a good band,

Great for the patio for sure but they have great bands on the weekends and a full kitchen open late. This is a hot nightspot if you're looking to get out and socialize.

Best bowling in town, completely upgraded and modern with great patio, good food and drinks, video games, etc. Not your typical bowling alley and always packed. About 7 minutes from our house right down park road.

We can't believe how lucky we are to have this place only 30 minutes from us. Get there early as it fills up and they stop letting folks in because the parking tends to run out. Trails for every skill level.

No place like this in the world. Beautiful to go to and spend the day even if you don't have an active bone in your body. They have music nearly year round, festivals, whitewater rafting, zip lines, hiking, mountain biking. We LOVE this place.
