This restaurant should have an International Award. They serve traditional Mughlai food and there is truly nothing like it. Order the Sikandari Raan, the Murgh Wajid Ali, the Murgh Malai Tikka, Kumbh Makki Masala, and of course an assortment of naans and rotis. The cuisine is utterly heavenly. Do not accidentally go to the one in Elante. The two do not compare. The decor is fun, there is a gigantic tree in the middle of the restaurant and lanterns peppered about. The staff is friendly and the copper cups are gorgeous

Amigos is an absolute delight to the city of Chandigarh. Amigo’s is a fully vegetarian café. This may sound unappealing at first until you try the incredible selection of pizzas with artichoke and capers and goat cheese and all sorts of other toppings unique to it. The café itself is a wonder, the outdoor seating is akin to the Secret Garden with ivy climbing the bright yellow walls and string lights hanging like a crust of stars over the tables.

Govt Museum and Art Gallery, Chandigarh was established in 1947 to preserve the Gandharan sculptures, Pahari and Rajasthani miniature paintings. After the partition in 1947, the collection of paintings, sculptures, decorative arts and other art objects in the Central Museum in Lahore was shifted to this museum. Besides the exquisite design, the Museum comprises an Art Gallery, Natural History Museum, Chandigarh Architecture Museum and National Gallery of Portraits. The Chandigarh Architecture Museum displays the original documents of the planning and evolution of the city. You can also find some rare plans, sketches and photographs of the City in this section.
