Aucklands oldest park is set on 75 hectares of land and has been developed around the cone of an extinct volcano. The park features formal gardens, a wintergarden, duck ponds, large green open spaces, sports fields, and bush walks.

Prebook online for cheaper tickets - otherwise can get expensive. Parking is easy, and there is also a free 'shark' shuttle (shaped like a shark) that will take you back to the ferry terminal.
