Parks & Nature
Just a km walk or jog around the inlet from Woody Bay is a great spot to go dolphin spotting early in the mornings and late in the afternoon. If you are lucky enough you may get up close and personal with them. I have had them come right into shore to show me how to fish before. It is an amazing experience. If you aren't lucky enough to catch the dolphins it is still a fabulous spot for a very private walk or jog. Very peaceful and the scenery from the many fallen trees (thus woody bay) is amazing.

If you have a 4wd this is a perfect place to enjoy beach 4wd driving. There is lagoons and army bunkers as points of interest. The kangaroos often come out onto the beach in the afternoons to introduce themselves.

The Woorim Off leash Dog Beach is about 300m from our home. Turn right at the house and cross the road to the beach.
If you prefer an on leash Dog Beach you can access at Woorim about 1.5km to the left of the house.

Great way to get out on the passage on a boat without needing a boat licence. They include a bbq and sink for cooking and food and there is a toilet onboard. Great way to enjoy a glass of wine on the water and watch the sunset over the glasshouse mountains.
