If you like sweets, this is nice spot with all kinds of dumplings. Even not sweet ones are good. Classic and with everything imaginable. Its also very nice spot to sit and enjoy while you chat or make plans what to see in the city.

To me, the best spot for Italian food. Best pizzas in town. They come in two different styles, Chicago style and Classic style. Try Bresoala or Fiorentina or just go with your own choice :)
They also have good salad with goat cheese. Very crowded and popular place, but always with some free tables to find. Not expensive.

Peaceful and quiet, authentic and charming. Great warm interior with fireplace and fishnets that you will love. They have very nice garden terrace if you go on sunny days. And food? Unearthly! Perch, catfish, sturgeon, carp... and homemade white wine! Perfect. They also have live traditional music with ordering possibility on some nights.

Little Italy. One of my first places that I always come back. Cute, cozy, little, basement type of restaurant. Chef used to work in Rome, so he brought it here. Lovely.

It's a pub restaurant. Similar to Corner Pub, but with vast choice of beers from all around the world. Great food also.

Very very cheap and good food, and some nice local small brewery crafted beers among well known. Love this place cause its modest.

Ways to get to my place from Airport
There are several options for transfer, from cheapest to ones more comfortable. Here we go.
1) A1 Bus line. Those minibuses are like shuttle ones, going every 20-30 mins in both directions. Good thing is they are cheap, like 3$ per person, and one stop is in walking distance from my place (2-3 mins). Just ask the driver to show you where to drop off (Old Main Train Station).
2) Taxi. Important thing, to avoid rip off, make sure you buy ticket on taxi desk on the airport, just before the exit. Specify the part of town called "Savski venac" and your ticket would cost you around 14$. After that, pick a cab and give the driver your ticket along with the exact address of my place. Done. No need to pay him anything.
3) Rent a car. If you intend to use a vehicle around, give it a go and rent one on airport. Can't say about the costs, haven't tried it yet :) But note that you will have to pay parking (except Sundays).
4) My ride. Sometimes I wait for guests on airport, welcome them and drive them to the apartment. It has it's advantages and pleasantries. But the service is more expensive then above mentioned. It's not always available as I am a working man and not always possible as I drive a small car. For larger groups and large luggage I am unavailable, non existing, forget about me :)
