Magnificent views and interesting geology. Bouddi is apparently an Aboriginal word for nose. This park offers a 9 km walk through heathland, littoral rainforest, sandy bays and wild deep ocean. Great for whale-watching, snorkelling and swimming too. World class!

The Cave Walk is a favourite of mine. Also, there's a terrific BBQ and picnic area at the top of the mountain. It's a favourite of Mountain Bikers and Bushwalkers. Accessible and peaceful way to experience the Australian Bush!

Island View DriveThe Cave Walk is a favourite of mine. Also, there's a terrific BBQ and picnic area at the top of the mountain. It's a favourite of Mountain Bikers and Bushwalkers. Accessible and peaceful way to experience the Australian Bush!

Jazz band plays at the Surf Club cafe here on a Wednesday morning. Love this beach! Walk to Little Beach - takes half an hour! Lovely!

Great North WalkBeautiful Waterfall here. Steep climb in and out.
Beautiful Waterfalls and walk down the gully. Aboriginal axe-grinding grooves are testament to this place being of special significance.

This site is now a retreat but in the 1830s it was an orphanage. It was one of the first sites to be developed outside Sydney. The Rocks' orphanages were full and overflowing. The orphanage is still there. The church and cemetary are very interesting set in a peaceful village with a wharf to sit or fish.

Magnificent views down to Sydney Marie Byles used to row her boat across to this land in the early 1920s from her parents' holiday home at Pearl Beach. Thanks to Marie this area of land became Bouddi National Park.

A must to visit while staying just 5 minutes drive away. Great for whale-watching in June. But any time of year to check out the views of the Three Points. You can see up to Newcastle and down to Sydney on a good day!

Kincumber's 19th century European ship-building history is honoured here at this monument on the waterfront. Great to sit on the jetty at sunset. or walk around the waterfront to Davistown and enjoy the peace and calm.

Great view over the southern end of the Central Coast! Stop here on your way to Wildwoods. There's a great waterfall walk on the Kariong Brook if you're after a good walk.
