This restaurant is usually not crowded and tends to be quiet and peaceful. The menu is Tibetian and Sushi. It isn't expensive and has a nice feel to it plus it is rather close to our house.

Small interesting museum with various exhibits which change regularly. But, there is one main exhibit of the local flora and fauna that is permanent along with historical pictures and information about Ojai's history. Entrance cost is only $4.00.

This is a relatively easy short hike up and along the ridge above Ojai. Beautiful views of the Ojai Valley. Find it at the end of Signal Ave (turn left on Signal if you are coming from Ventura). Parking is along Signal St toward the top where it joins the trail.

Shelf RoadThis is a relatively easy short hike up and along the ridge above Ojai. Beautiful views of the Ojai Valley. Find it at the end of Signal Ave (turn left on Signal if you are coming from Ventura). Parking is along Signal St toward the top where it joins the trail.
Although there isn't as much water in the lake as there used to be before the drought, Lake Casitas has lovely picnic areas and a trail one can hike (ask the folks at the entrance for directions to the trail that goes past the vineyard). There is an entrance fee.

Lake Casitas is a large lake with various places to hike. There is a $15 entrance fee unless you park outside the gate and walk in or unless you have breakfast there. If you eat there, they will refund your entrance fee to the park. The lake is low as we are in a prolonged drought but it is still very lovely.

this is a lovely golf park with beautiful views, a small informal restaurant and a bar. It isn't expensive to golf (or eat). My husband spends a lot of time there! Reservations for golf advised.
