These four missions, along with the Alamo, have been named a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO).

Built in 1910 and attempted to be decommissioned in the late 90's. In 2001, the bridge became a Texas Historical Civil engineering Landmark by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The City of San Antonio, the Texas Historic Commission and the Historic Bridge Foundation also lists the bridge as a Historic Structure. It is also listed on the Federal Register of Historic Places. Visit here for a cool picture, then hop down to Alamo brewery for a refreshing golden ale
