If you have a car and you feel like taking a 25 - 30 minute drive to Gembrook there is a fabulous pizza restaurant called Forest Edge. The pizzas on average cost around $10 and the views over the rolling hills are exceptional. There is also a more formal dining restaurant attached to the pizza restaurant if you are seeking an a la carte dining experience.

The pizzas on average cost around $10 and the views over the rolling hills are exceptional. There is also a more formal dining restaurant attached to the pizza restaurant if you are seeking an a la carte dining experience.
This is a great restaurant to visit if you are seeking 360 views over the Dandenong Ranges. The food and service are good too.

Miss Marple's Tearoom is an institution in Sassafras. Miss Marples does get very busy on Saturday's and Sundays so it is likely you will need to queue for a little while. I have also listed another devonshire tea option at Dine Devine that's a stone's throw from Miss Marple's if waiting for a table is not an option.
