Original Thai food. Very close to our place. Mostly Thai guests. It's an original experience but in a nice ambience. Go there when you are into spicy and original Thai Cuisine and don't want to eat at the kitchens on the street.

The most amazing BBQ street market at Patong. Very next to our place. It starts at about 6pm. Original Thai style street BBQ, sitting at the road side, next to the beach. That's Thai!

A restaurant, not far from our place, where you find mostly Thai guests. The place is fancy, accompanied by a bar with a lot of self mixed drinks. You may choose among all Thai dishes that you can imagine. The staff speaks english and the food is tasty and quickly prepared. A real secret recommendation if you are looking for contemporary Thai places. BTW: they also have live music. Pices are in the middle range. Let me make a guest: for a dinner of 4 people there will be a bill af about 2000 THB (without drinks).

Upper class category. Perfect location. Good Thai and Fusion Cuisine. Maybe a little bit expensive but the ambience is worth it. Choose it for a special moment.

Thailand's basic food scene. 100% original, nothing for very subtle minds but maybe just because of that so recommendable! OK, it may not be that comfortable and the view - right on the main road - may not be worth a visit. That's true. But it's a family-run, warm-hearted place that you'll come back again and again. There are hardly any tourists and the food is simply delicious and really inexpensive. And another big advantage: the restaurant is very close to my house and you can reach it in a few minutes on foot.
Blue Horizon - Top Quality Thai Food
Thailand's basic food scene. 100% original, nothing for very subtle minds but maybe just because of that so recommendable! A very special place to observe these wonderful animals in the wild. It is a good idea to keep a whole day free for this. Please inform yourself about the current prices on their homepage. These are quite high, but worth this incredible experience!

Promthep is quite definitely the most spectacular viewpoint on the island of Phuket. Visiting it is an absolute must. My tip: take a private taxi and make a round tour of the island. The drivers will certainly take you there.

Epic beach. Quite realxed. Easy to reach.
Rawai Beach area is famous for it georgous beach restaurants to eat, drink and realax. When you are on a tour along the eastern side of the island don't miss to stop there.

It's "our beach" :-)
So near from our place (just have a relaxed walk to there) and plenty of space. Good for swimming in high season, always best for children playing in the sand. Or just have an early morning run along the beach (around 2,5 km one way).
