Fantastic little restaurant in an old house. Gourmet salads, appetizers and entrees. Every order includes jalapeno cornbread muffins. Yummy!

Great curries. Solid, good Thai food a stone's throw from my house. Literally 3 minutes away. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of food.

Healthy, healthy, healthy delicious food. When I first tried their vegan nachos, I might have cried a little. They are that good. Did I mention vegan ice cream (soft and scoop?). Simply amazing.

My favorite go-to vegetarian restaurant -- everything here is good. I've been a patron for years and have never been disappointed. My faves are the vegan lasagna and the vegan chocolate cake. Yum.

Just minutes away, this is an excellent sushi restaurant with very reasonable prices. The veggie rolls are superb and my friends say the fish is fresh and delicious. Plan ahead, tho, can be crowded.

Fast, cheap, delicious breakfast tacos with fresh salsa. Not a sit-down restaurant, you definitely want to get them to-go. This place is packed on Sunday mornings by the hangover brunch crowd.

This little food trailer has really delicious vegan tacos if you're in the hip North Loop area. They even have a little patio seating area, but can take extra long during peak hours.

You can't help but find inspiration with velvet paintings on the ceiling and all the retro furniture. Coffee is OK, but I go for the food/pastry selections and the vibe. Park around back if needed.

The falafel recipe is rock-solid, and their "salad bar" fixin's are made fresh in-store. Friendly owners really get and appreciate good food. Small space, very casual dining plus a few tables outside.

Hard to find good espresso in Austin, but this place has it (1/2 price before 10am!). Decent pastry case, and a wide selection of drinks/beer. You MUST try the coconut and dark chocolate gelatos!
