This is a brand new beautiful artisan bakery, just a minutes walk away from Bonnie View. The bakery has a bright and airy sit in area. The food is amazing! Veras is open from 8:30 Tuesday-Saturday so a perfect spot for breakfast. I would highly recommend you give this place a try during your stay.
This lovely Bistro style restaurant serves deliciously authentic Regional Indian dishes. It is a lovely spot to have a laid back meal but also special enough to have a date or celebration. It is only a few minutes walk from Bonnie Views.

This is a great place to stop and refuel on your way back from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The food is delicious and the gift shop/ deli always have something new and unusual to enjoy.

This restaurant has a large soft play area for little ones. There are tv's in the booths where you can watch the soft play area meaning the adults can eat their meal in peace away from the madness of the soft play whilst keeping an eye on their kids. it also has a little play park outside for the summer months. Food is great and service is efficient and friendly.

In spring/summer months there is a kiosk which sells drinks and snacks. At the height of summer there is an ice-cream van at the gates. The /kings parks area is a lovely part of stirling to explore.

Alva Glen is a spectacular gorge situated above the village of Alva at the foot of the Ochil Hills. This farm is amazing for children- it also has a newly renovated cafe for the adults to relax in while the children are having fun! No need to wait for the snow! Firpark Ski Centre in Tillicoultry offers a whole range of snow sport activities throughout the year on its 120m DRY ski slope. Firpark offers skiing, snowboarding and blading for people of all levels of experience, with expert tuition given by our experienced instructors. For something different they have tubing lets, which allow up to 15 people to descend the slope in tubes (similar to a large inner tube) just for fun. This activity is great fun and suitable for all age groups. I would highly recommend this- it is such a laugh! Inside the Centre they offer cold drinks and confectionery.
