Bar Casal is a real locals place. It is like a canteen or sports venue, not a restaurant, but it is friendly, welcoming and serves a good three course Menu Del Dia with wine or beer for under 12 Euros.

Wonderfully preserved and presented Roman remains including an amphitheater and parts of a chariot racing track. Also a great cathedral that is well worth visiting. Great sqaures fringed with bars and cafes. A pretty ramblas which ends at the Balcon D'Mediterraneo, eperfect place for people watching

Wonderfully preserved and presented Roman remains including an amphitheater and parts of a chariot racing track. Also a great cathedral that is well worth visiting. Great sqaures fringed with bars and cafes. A pretty ramblas which ends at the Balcon D'Mediterraneo, eperfect place for people watching

Santes Creus is a world heritage site and the resting place of two Spanish kings & queens. It is stunningly beautiful and very peaceful as astonishingly it is not visited by huge numbers of people. The entrance cost is uner 8 Euros and includes an audio guide. Allow at least an hour to visit and soak up the history.
Santes Creus village is also very pretty and has a great range of cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy.

The Ferreres Aquaduct in Pont Del Diable park is an extraordinary 2000 year old Roman aquaduct, which is free to visit. It is 25m high comprising one row of arches built on top of another set of arches and stands in a landscaped park, which provides great peaceful walks. It is very beautiful and you can even walk over the top, which gives a great sense of being in touch with the varied history of this region.
