The caverns are a must see! Be sure to visit the car museum and historic buildings included with the ticket. Perfect outing on a rainy day or when it’s too hot or too cold for other outside activities. The weather is always perfect in the caverns.

Beautiful paved walking trail next to the creek through town. Great fishing area.
There is also a swimming hole that is great for kids.

Food scene
Post Covid serving craft cocktails, beer and wine with excellent appetizers. We hope they are able to return to full service as it was a great spot for dinner. Servers are professional and the food is great.

Locally grown hops makes for nice locally crafts beer. They have great homemade root beer, too. Often they have a food truck or catering onsite for a casual bite to eat. This place gets busy ... it’s popular ‘cause the beer is good.

Adorable winery/farm ... Sue and her hubby run a sweet spot and make some nice wines. Try a tasting and pick a fav then sit by the fire pit or walk through the vines to the cool creek along the back. They often have live music, too. If you like sweet wine this is the best place. The others we recommend don’t have much in the way of sweet.
