Less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment, is the infamous "mushroom" or Las Setas. Located in Plaza Encarnación, one can take an elevator to the top of the mushroom for some beautiful views of the city. There is also a really cool market below! Plaza Encarnación is quite relaxing and a nice spot to people watch and take in the city life.
