SpB Largest Shopping Centre. Usual suspects can be found here, but hosts a cinema on the top floor, and usually has one screening of a movie in English each evening. And Okei supermarket - is ok-ish.

Treat yourself to a night at the opera or ballet. Tickets are best booked way in advance so see what's what online. Hardly a bad seat in the house either so even row zxy won't disappoint.

1930's museum set in an old church and hardly an update since. They don't make models like these any more. It's a museum in itself, worthwhile to see how it was done back in the day.

Vladimir Putin's childhood home, an old kommunalka on the fifth floor. He attended nearby school 193 numbering one of its famous graduates as Nadezhda Krupskaya, wife of Lenin. KGB HQ is close too..
