Elaine’s guidebook for Sliema Ballutta apartment

These are just a few recommendations of restaurants I frequent with my family and they are all within walking distance from the Apartment in Ballutta Bay.

When you arrive I recommend you simply go down to Ballutta Piazza (2 min walk) where you will find many cafes and restaurants and the seafront. In this area, I recommend U bistrot, Wigi's kitchen & Frescos for lunches or dinners. Breakfast at the cafes like Cafe guloso are great and good coffees. There is a lot to see and do but these places below you need to get to see whilst in Malta.

Check in Procedure I try my best to meet all guests upon Check in or Check out but sometimes timing to arrivals or departures are not always possible for me. This is why I always ask guests to give me check in & check out times so I can try meet with you. I always make it a point to message you before your arrival and keep in contact with you whilst checking in especially when you are checking in through Key safe. I also recommend booking the transfer taxi myself because this way I also keep in contact with taxi driver who notifies me of your arrival. Upon check in, you will find the apartment ready suited to the number of guests sleeping. I recommend that after you settle in, you could go to The Convenience shop as shown below (1 min walk but turning left on the side street) to buy any necessities you might need like milk, bread, toiletries, etc. Or you could simply cross the road and walk down the hill to Ballutta Bay where you will find lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and seaside.
