Our Favorite Eats In Nashville
Going to spend the day in Nashville and looking for somewhere to grab a bite? Here are a few of our favorites, some are a little off the beaten path.
Nestled within the East Nashville neighborhood, this is a great location for both a date night or to meet up with friends. The wait can be a little lengthy so plan accordingly. If the weather is nice they have a large outdoor beer garden and patio.
If you don't mind walking a block or two there is ample free street parking.

They keep the inside tables moving pretty quickly even when the lines are rather long. Also, if you are in a hurry they do have a carry-out window next door and a secondary location on Charlotte Ave.
Be sure to try the meatball pizza!
Fans of Indian cuisine, or event those that are a little less adventurous should give this place a try. Chauhan Ale & Masala House is a personal favorite of ours, and their dishes are unlike anything you have tried before. They take traditional Indian spices and flavors and mix them with more modern American staples.
Our favorite appetizer is the chicken masala covered french fries!

Another top Italian restaurant right in the heart of the city is Amerigo. They offer a good quality product, at reasonable prices for a restaurant of this type. Because of their location you will see patrons in everything from casual wear to their Sunday best.

The wait can be long, so depending on what you have planned for the day you may want to call in an order to-go, and take this for a picnic at Centennial Park. They also have alternate locations that are not as busy as this midtown spot.
