Auberge Aux 4 Vents is a cafe & restaurant and a great place with a view of poya bridge and cathedral. The address is Route de Grandfey 124, 1763 Granges-Paccot.
It has a great view at the garden. Especially in a sunny day, chilling out at the garden, ordering a movenpick ice-cream would be nice.

Very nice athmosphere, good music, good food and a known bar & restaurant by locals. There are bikes and accesories in the cafe as a deco which I find very cool and cosy. There are often some parties in the bar.

As capital city of Switzerland, it is a must to see. It takes only 20 minutes from Fribourg by train. You can take a city map from tourist information office and visit the city in 1-2 hours. Don't forget to see bear park in the summer. Schwellenmatteli Restaurant has a great view.

The cathedral is symbol of Fribourg. A jewel of Gothic architecture, it was built between 1283 and 1490. It is very rich decorated cathedral with stained glasses created by the Polish painter Jozef Mehoffer.
If you want to have a top view of Fribourg 360°, you can climb to top of the cathedral ( 365 steps, and 5 chf as I remember)

If you want to have a top view of Fribourg 360°, you can climb to top of the cathedral ( 365 steps, and 5 chf as I remember)
A route to bike or have a walk. Silent and full of nature. When you continue straigt, you will see the Grandfey brige/viaduc.
The pont de Grandfey is a sight that is hard to forget. Generations of walkers who cross this deep chasm via the footbridge below have marvelled at the sheer height of this viaduct, and been moved by the vibrations of the trains as they trundle overhead.

The entrance to the Grandfey footbridge features one of the most important examples of minimalist art in Switzerland – a sculpture by Richard Serra, from 1988.
PS. when you pass the brigde turn left and you will see an old gong. You can hit the gong strongly and you will feel the vibration in all your body.
