It lies within the legendary and historical Colfax County. Culturally-rich Taos with its Pueblo, Mission Church, Rio Grande Gorge, and distinguished art museums and restaurants is a short, scenic drive away. Santa Fe is a bit further down the road but makes for a nice day-trip. Alpine Retreat is accessible by an all-season road and a level, circular drive. Shops, cafes, a market, library, and banks are close by. Conveniently located near resort amenities, such as skiing, golf, tennis courts, hiking trails, mountain biking, private lake and country club, there is anything you need!
