An excellent alternative to cycling on the roads, Via Verde are routes developed on old railway lines, some barely stretching for a few kilometres, to urban trails and country tracks, right up to itineraries of up to 200 kilometres. All in all, an original, varied alternative for those who want to discover Spain’s rich landscapes and cultural sites in an easy, environmentally
friendly way.

La Senia is one of the entry points to Els Ports Natural Park, it has a tourist information office, restaurants and depends mainly on agriculture, there are tourist attractions on the reservoirs, with kayaks and pedal boats to hire.

This is an area to visit to see the vineyards, quality wine and opportunities to do some serious climbing.

The village and the castle were founded by the Moors and rebuilt by the Knights Templar and transformed into a fortress-monastery, after the conquest of 1153. It's a fabulous opportunity to experience the traditional ferry across the rive Ebro. Miravet is well know for its pottery and is a good place to see the authentic crafts.

The Cova Meravelles and the Cova del Dos are the two cavities open to the public. Both are a guided walk, which last 45 minutes. In the Cova del Dos you can appreciate the historical remains of the Neolithic era and the Battle of the Ebro; in La Meravelles you will see the spectacular Eccentrics, very unusual formations. The Music Room will also give you big surprises. All the formations created with the slow dripping of the water create fantastic formations.

The castle stands on the hill in the centre of the old town of Tortosa, overlooking and dominating all its historic buildings. Of enormous strategic importance, the fortifications and the views they offer of the town and its surrounding area are stunning.

A challenging walk to this spectacular rock formation.
This natural pool is good to cool down after a walk from the house (a hard 90minutes) or an easy 40 minutes walk from the car. It's in the next valley from the property, on the 'Barranc de la Vall de la Servera'.

From L’Ampolla to the north of the Deltebro there are many interesting coves, sandy and pebbly, with showers and beach bars. The sea here is much clearer and deeper, making it ideal for snorkelling; favourites are Cala del Moro and Cala de Santa Lucia, near El Perelló.

From L’Ampolla to the north of the Deltebro there are many interesting coves, sandy and pebbly, with showers and beach bars. The sea here is much clearer and deeper, making it ideal for snorkelling; favourites are Cala del Moro and Cala de Santa Lucia, near El Perelló.
