Best coffee, light breakfast and lunches. Morning and noon this restaurant has the freshest offerings in town. Lucky to have this spot.

This place has delicious homemade ice creams. The rhubarb sorbet is my favorite made from the owner’s own garden. The ice cream is the stand out here, but for sure you can grab a baked good or a sandwich as well.

This is our local health foods store. They also have a hot bar during the week for lunch and some really good morning pastries—but everything sells out pretty fast.

Sightseeing

Lost of hikes surround this shrinking glacier. (Ugh.) All abilities are welcome from wheelchair access to experienced hikers. Start at the beautiful visitors center to choose a hike and get going to see ice caves, waterfalls and wildlife.

Great opportunities for everyone to get into the alpine. One can take the tram (Fully accessible.) and just visit the center. Alternatively you can climb the mountain from the base or take the tram and summit the mountain from the tree line. What locals do is take the foot path from basin road and hike up to the restaurant for a delicious beer and a (mediocre... but satisfying after a vertical hike) hamburger while you take in the views. The tram down is free!
