One side has paid parking, $3.90- no amenities. The other side has free parking, food vendors. Some people fish off the piers. Fun to jump off and swim in!

With big swells, you will see surfers and bodyboarders. To the extreme west side is the surf break Gas Chambers. Use caution when waves are large.

If you want a nice day trip adventure this is a fun place for snorkeling or just relaxing. You purchase a ticket from the ferry dock.
Adult tickets $10.90, you can bring your own cooler for an additional $6.99 ticket. Ferry ride is 10 min to the dock of Gilligan’s Island. The inside lagoon area is shallow1’, to about 6-7’. Lots of small fish to spot and a good introduction to snorkeling and mangrove type islands that fringe the south side of PR.

The infamous “Blue Hole” is on the outer part of the reef. Suggested you hire a tour guide from local dive shop to avoid ending up on reef!!

Gets steeper, then you climb over a few rocks to get down to the actual survival beach area. Nice large boulders to swim near. You can connect to another beach with another up and down climb by walking East. Good to go with someone to guide you, or follow the people hiking already.
There is an area that tricks you into thinking you should head down, resist that path and continue until you actually climb over rocks in the pathway!

Gets steeper, then you climb over a few rocks to get down to the actual survival beach area. Nice large boulders to swim near. You can connect to another beach with another up and down climb by walking East. Good to go with someone to guide you, or follow the people hiking already.
There is an area that tricks you into thinking you should head down, resist that path and continue until you actually climb over rocks in the pathway!

An 1.5 hour drive from Isabela is a great adventure to experience the Rio Tanama and zipline across a valley. Rappelling ends one of the tours, but is optional if you don’t want to. Jorge and Denise are the local couple who owns the business. They offer other types of tours if you look over their website.
