Sightseeing
The Ocean Shores North Jetty, built in 1906, lies at the southern end of the Ocean Shores peninsula and bounds the north entrance to Grays Harbor. Climbing up on the massive rocks forming the jetty gives you a view of big waves rolling in unhindered off of the ocean. Across the harbor you can see Westport. Behind the jetty is a wide, sandy beach. This is an absolutely beautiful location to visit.

A wonderful beach area for laying out and enjoying the sun! Great walking beach also. No vehicles allowed on this beach so it feels like a more traditional beach in comparison to other local beaches that allow vehicles to drive and park in the sand. There are some private beach areas adjacent to this public beach so I encourage you to be mindful of signs detailing the private areas.

Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area
A wonderful beach area for laying out and enjoying the sun! Great walking beach also. The entrance to this beach is just south of the Shilo Inn at the major 4-way stop sign intersection. You can drive onto the beach and park your car and enjoy the smell and the sounds of the ocean! Depending on the time of year, horseback riding may be available at this beach.

Food scene
This is one of my favorite restaurants, although it can get pricey when having both food and beverages. The food is good and we enjoy the quaintness of the restaurant. In addition to the Bistro, there is a cozy bar upstairs offering a variety of drinks and food. There is also a small outside deck off of the upstairs bar.

Good pizza a wings for take out or dine-in. They have a dine-in buffet also. Their website will tell you their daily specials so you can get the most for your money.

They offer breakfast (starting at 10am and have lunch through 3pm (subject to change.) They do not offer dinner. Given its location, it's a great place to eat on your way to or from Ocean Shores or if you don't mind driving 30 minutes go have a wonderful meal.

Given its location, it's a great place to eat on your way to or from Ocean Shores or if you don't mind driving 30 minutes go have a wonderful meal.
While it is a distance from Ocean Shores in Aberdeen, it is a wonderful place to enjoy wine tasking or a glass or bottle of wine. They have seating areas that include comfortable over-sided chairs and sofas. They also have nuts and charcuterie options for food. There is a food truck on the street corner a few steps away and you are allowed to bring their food into the space. Open Tuesdays - Saturdays 4pm - 8pm (subject to change.). A nice alternative to a traditional restaurant!
