La Paz Tours & Activities

5 Things You Must Do In La Paz 1.- Snorkel with whale sharks. La Paz is one of the best places in the world to swim with these gentle giants, which can reach up to 12 meters in length. You can join a tour that will take you to the bay where they feed from October to April. 2.- Visit Balandra Beach. This stunning beach is famous for its crystal-clear water, white sand, and mushroom-shaped rock formations. You can rent a kayak, paddleboard, or snorkel gear and explore the calm lagoon and its wildlife. 3.- Sail to Espíritu Santo Island. This island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and a natural wonder. You can see diverse marine life, such as dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, and sea lions. You can also hike, camp, or relax on the pristine beaches. 4.- Explore the old town. La Paz has a rich history and culture that you can discover by walking around the downtown area. You can see the Catedral de Nuestra Señora de La Paz, the Whale Museum, the Museum of Anthropology and History, and the local artwork. You can also shop at the market, enjoy the nightlife, and sample fresh seafood. 5.- Kayak through the mangroves or sand dunes in Mogote. Mogote is a peninsula that separates La Paz Bay from the Sea of Cortez. You can kayak through the mangrove, and if you are lucky you’ll get to see dolphins and many other types of wildlife. You can also explore the sand dunes and enjoy the views of the city and the sea . I hope this list suits your preferences better. Have fun in La Paz, Mexico!
