Great place to rent a kayak. Very affordable. You can kayak around downtown on Ladybird Lake. So pretty. They have changing rooms too. :)

East 6th street, East of I-35, is now a new hip area to go out to. Many cool restaurants and bars. Very eclectic and all age groups.

A one of a kind place overlooking Lake Travis. Go for Sunset; the views are incredible! A bit pricey for food. It's very large, 3 stories, seats close to 2500. Very unique.

This is a beautiful nature park with acres of mesquite and oak trees. 51 acres! I walk it at dusk to see the deer. Very pretty. 5 min away.

A must see. Take a boat ride (only $10 pp) at dusk to see the world famous bats come out from under Congress Street bridge! This is a good company to book with. Nice boats and tour.

A very nice taken in. The Boardwalk is part of the 10 mile hike and bike trail on Lady Bird Lake - a lush, urban path that meanders along the water’s edge and passes by skyscrapers neighborhoods.

A beautiful town to stroll, swim, dine, shop. They did get hit by the floods unfortunately. Clean up is going on. The town is open for business and swimming. Half hour drive.

If you like the outdoors, architecture, art, go here. So pretty. A Villa built at the turn of the century on acres of gardens along the water. Donated to Austin; a museum now. $5 entrance. So nice!

Love this hangout. One of a kind. Outdoor/Indoor bar with fire pits, food trailers, volleyball, horseshoes, music on weekends, etc. It's like tailgating with an eclectic crowd.
