If Glacier is too busy, or you just want to hike elsewhere, check out Jewel Basin; a National Hiking Area that is home to pristine mountain lakes maintained exclusively for hiking and camping. It's a local favorite only 45 minutes from Kalispell.

Our weekly summer-time markets are a great place to find local food, listen to live music, and enjoy a beer (or three) while you socialize with other travelers and locals alike. Every Thursday from 5-8 PM (summer time only).
We LOVE this market, held Thursday evenings in the summer. They serve beer, always have live music and great food, and some of the most talented artists and delicious food vendors sell here. Also, it's the only place to find Dixon melons in the valley; do yourself a favor and get one if you can!
